You have to make sure that you know the timeline for getting policies issued and how long you have to wait to be paid;. Typically the non medical plans issue much faster than the fully underwritten ones. 3) Think about the people you serve first, not your commissions - as an agent it is so easy to think about getting paid. The focus for success is to think about the people you are serving with your insurance products and try to help as many people as you can. In order for you to experience the success you want you need to focus on helping people get what they want. The more people you help, the more success you will have in your career. 4) Give back as you get more - finally, don't allow success to stop with you. Reach out to the less fortunate. Give to that poor person you see on the streets. Find charities you can donate both time and money to. Let the world be a better place because you are in it.
